- March 2002
- The company's co-founders develop several websites specifically accommodating travel solutions for obtaining business and recreational travel visa for Eastern European nations.
- January 2003
- VisaHQ.com officially launches. The new site enables travelers to apply online for visas to virtually any country that has a Consulate in the United States, simply by filling out one universal, 100% paperless electronic application form - an industry first. U.S. Citizens visiting the website can also renew, replace or add pages to their passports.
- April 2004
- VisaHQ moves its headquarters to Embassy Row, Washington, DC. This strategic location, within easy access to Consular offices and Embassies, enables VisaHQ to forge alliances with diplomatic staff and brings many practical benefits that improve efficiency and visa application turnaround.
- October 2005
- A new tool is added to VisaHQ.com a free to database comprising the largest online directory of international Embassies and Consulates.
- June 2007
- A partnership is brokered, which makes VisaHQ the exclusive visa services partner of STA Travel - the largest student travel association in the world. This allows STA Travel to provide online visa application services to student and youth travelers at competitive rates for virtually any country in the world. - February 2008
- VisaHQ.com adds new customs database to its repertoire of online tools for clients. This database (available to citizens of any country free of charge) provides indispensable customs information for all countries, including import and export regulations, food and drink standards, and general health issues.
- March 2008
- VisaHQ.com introduces a unique online tool for checking worldwide travel visa requirements. By selecting a country of nationality and a country of destination, users can determine if a travel visa is required and view detailed information on the types of visa available, related fees, allowed duration of stay and Embassy contact information. With easy installation and user-friendly capabilities, this cutting-edge feature allows travel professionals and travelers access to travel visa requirements worldwide.
- September 2008
- VisaHQ announces its international expansion with the opening of a new office in Ottawa, ON, Canada. The company's new operation delivers the same unrivalled levels of travel services expertise, reliability and customer service to Canadian travelers.
- May 2009
- VisaHQ partners with Vayama.com and JohnnyJet.com. As both websites add travel visa and passport solutions using VisaHQ.com tools.
- June 2009
- VisaHQ.com re-launches a new consumer website, adding a new design and many enhancements to streamline the visa and passport application processing. The new site is the most sophisticated online travel visa and passport solutions resource found anywhere on the web.
- July 2009
- VisaHQ collaborates with the popular travel portal BootsnAll.com, who adds VisaHQ travel visa and passport solutions to their website.
- January 2010
- VisaHQ.com moves its servers to Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud. A green solution, due to its enhanced energy efficiencies, cloud computing arms VisaHQ customers with the most reliable and robust service, regardless of how many users are simultaneously submitting applications online.
